Membership Criteria
 
Membership is by invitation only and a new member must be nominated by an existing member with a simple majority approval by current Forum members.

Company representative
  • Membership is open to individuals that hold the position of CEO, President, COO, General Manager, Group Executive or Chairperson of an Engineering and/or Technology company.
  • Only one executive per company may participate in the CEO Forum and sending substitutes are not allowed.
The intent and directive is to build dynamic relationships within the group, building trust and confidence.

Technology
Member company must have an active research and development component to its business in the area of hi-tech or biotech.

Location
Although currently membership is only open to companies with facilities in the city of Riverside, California, we welcome inquiries from the Inland Southern California region.   


Members must abide by the Guiding Principles.

Ongoing membership requirements 
  • Members must attend meetings regularly as it is vital to the success of the Forum. Absence of a member from three meetings annually may result in membership review by Forum Members. Sending a substitute for a meeting is not allowed. The intent and directive is to build dynamic relationships within the group, building trust and confidence.
  • Members agree not to actively solicit any business from other members.
  • Members agree to participate in meetings and may be asked to share experiences with the group.
  • Members are encouraged to commit to the success of each member and the purpose of the forum by establishing mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Members are encouraged to serve as a trusted and influential advocate to the local government. Forum members will also be a sounding board for city officials. Members will also coordinate the efforts of commerce and technology with city officials in fostering a healthy hi-tech business climate and enhanced quality of life.
  • Members are encouraged to build a strong partnership with UCR, RCC and Other Higher Education Institutions for mutual benefit.
  •  Members are expected to hold all discussions in strict confidence.
  • Members are expected to keep all discussions real, exciting and productive with actionable and attainable goals.
  • As business owners and leaders we recognize our responsibility to act ethically, and to recognize that our actions have consequences for people beyond ourselves.
  • Member shall not utilize the Forum as a political forum or agenda and shall for the purposes of this Forum refrain from actions that could be construed as partisan. The success of this Forum is placed with the trust and understanding that the agenda and purpose remain non-partisan, but rather advance the high technology environment of the business community in the City of Riverside.
